Hi guys! So sorry for the absence. It’s been really hard writing lately. I hope you don’t mind this short blog about what’s been going on.
My family had to take my sister to the hospital last week. She’s been dealing with things for nearly a year now. We’ve been to many doctors but they barely did anything. So last week, she was getting worse. We took her to a hospital and they decided to keep her over night (and ended up keeping her for the next day). The next day the doctor said he is confident but not sure that she has benign (which means non-cancerous) kidney tumors.
We’re not sure if this is true. We’re currently waiting for the test results to come in. She’s back home now, and is on blood pressure medication. The doctor saw her blood pressure was high. He even said she was at borderline stroke level. And he said if she was older it would’ve killed her.
Today (Tuesday) she went to see a family doctor. He gave her a prescription for her sinus infection. She’s had one for many years and nothing’s helped. She even has a hole in her nose. I ask you all to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Out of all the doctors we’ve seen, this one was the only one to even consider keeping her overnight to monitor her.
It just makes me so mad, especially my mother, that these doctors saw her go through these “spells” (we called them “seizures” because we didn’t know what they really were.) and yet dismissed her. This could’ve killed her easily. She’s had these “spells” since early September last year. And it’s taken this long to start to figure everything out.
Anyway, I hope to try and start publishing more blogs! But I’ve been working on other things (like my video games) so I hope you’ll forgive me for my long pauses in posts!
